ABOUT ME
Dra. Bárbara Billwiller
Infectious Disease Physician • Regional Registration: CRM RJ 801593 • RQE 45210

I am an infectious disease physician and have been caring for people with infectious diseases for nearly 20 years. Since the beginning of my career, I have chosen to work alongside patients facing challenges such as HIV, STIs, osteomyelitis, and other conditions that require specialized attention and listening.
Providing care with empathy, without judgment, has always been my driving force. I have a special dedication to caring for pregnant women living with HIV, a role that demands responsibility, continuous updating, and genuine compassion.
Today, I practice exclusively in a private office in Recreio, Rio de Janeiro, designed to offer comfort, privacy, and easy access. My commitment is to provide humanized, technical, and respectful care, dedicating time and attention to each individual story.
More than treating diseases, I believe in building connections. Here, every patient is seen in their entirety — with their fears, questions, and expectations. Whether for treatment, guidance, or ongoing follow-up, I am here to walk alongside you.
